We seem to be bombarded with an idea

“For God, in His wisdom, saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance and then He stepped in and saved all those who believed His message, which the world calls foolish and silly.” I Cor 1:21 (TLB)

It seems that someone is trying to save something these days. Save the whales. Save the economy. Save water. Save money. Save animals on the endangered species list. We seem to be bombarded with an idea to save everything that is deemed valuable and necessary by some group or another.

While this might be a good idea, in my mind, God has provided a way to return to Him. Despite all the good deeds and plans of humankind, He has opened a way for His blessings and salvation, even if the world doesn’t accept it. After all, it is His plan, His will and His provision!

And, there is one sure way to find it:  the Truth in His Word.

Perhaps that is too easy or accessible? Maybe the world wants something more intricate and sophisticated?

I can’t answer those questions but I do know the Bible provides the answers that we need in order to please God. And that’s a sure bet!
