Ingwe Care is actively involved in 22 day care centers hosted by unemployed African women in the poorest townships of Cape Town, South Africa. Lorna, Alicia and Marty carry the main workload while Steve supplies children’s books, teaching materials, etc from the warehouse. Recently, they all went to a local elementary school to deliver Bibles, books, etc for their library, which had no books!

The absolute joy on the faces of the teachers was a sight to behold. Ingwe Care has also raised funds to start a vegetable garden for an AIDS orphanage. Local Christian couples help and visit the kids, which brings the two cultures together.

This is our objective as well, finding Christians in the city who are prepared to help with whatever they can.
