Women’s Event – Nababeep

In July while visiting the Nababeep Assembly of God Church with the Gospel 101 team after the Be a Body Builder workshop in nearby Springbok, I was invited to return 2 weeks later to be the guest speaker at their annual women’s event. This church was one of the most welcoming congregations I have worked with. My message topic was “The Great I Am.” I talked about how though it is important to know who we are as children of God, we must not always focus on that. Though we receive power being children of God, we must always stay focused on the Source of the power. The message was very well received and I met some amazing women of faith. I was also able to spend time with the pastor and his wife and some close friends of theirs. They truly made me feel like we had been friends forever. I hope it was as much of a blessing for them as it was for me. God is good!
